Chaps are quoted with sports zippers for children and brass zippers for adults, simple front buckle, and single back concho. Front belt tongue and back unpunched to assure a custom fit without excess holes. Front belt buckle and tongue length adjustable. All pricing subject to actual material costs. Ask for an exact quote prior to purchase. You may supply your own chap material. Labor charges quoted upon request.
ULTRA SUEDE (TM) Manufactured by Toray Ultra Suede (tm). Easy care. Machine washable and dryable. Use for chaps and appliqué. Ultra Suede Soft recommended for use in chaps. Readily available in a variety of colors. We now stock Ultra Suede (not all colors)
SMOOTH LEATHER is the most expensive of the chap materials. Smooth chaps require the investment of purchasing a cow hide and are slightly more difficult to work with. However, the finished product is extremely beautiful. Lambskin is now also available for making smooth leather chaps. Both cowhide and lambskin are available in a multitude of colors. Lambskin has slightly more stretch and provides a smoother, customized fit.
