SHOW CLOTHES UNLIMITED offers you chaps in a variety of colors and material choices.  The cost of your chaps will depend upon which material you choose, the size required, and any embellishments you may add such as silver buckles for the back, silver buckle/lkeeper sets for the front and concho size.

    PLEATHER is the most economical chap material.   It is best described as light weight vinyl.  It is extremely easy to care for (wipe with damp cloth) and is very durable.  It comes in a variety of colors.  Chaps made from pleather are suitable for entry level, leadline, walk-trot and very early years of 4-H.

    FAUX ULTRA SUEDE, when available, is your next most economical chap material.  It is approximately 1/2 the cost of true Ultra-Suede (TM).  Faux Ultra Suede chaps can be worn in any competition at any level, although some associations are turning to smooth leather as the "in" chap material.

    ULTRA SUEDE (TM)   is readily available through many resources and is available in a variety of colors.
   
    ULTRA LEATHER (T) is readily available through many resources and is also available in a variety of colors.  This is a good cost alternative for someone who needs the smooth leather look without the huge investment.
    SMOOTH LEATHER is the most expensive of the chap materials.  Smooth chaps require the investment of purchasing a cow hide and is slightly more difficult towork with.  However, the finished product is extremely beautiful.  Lambskin is now also available for making smooth leather chaps.  Both cowhide and lambskin are available in a multitude of colors.  Lambskin has slightly more stretch and provides a smoother, customized fit.
